West Liberty has gone a perfect 10-0 against West Branch recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Comets are taking a road trip to face off against the Bears at 5:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (West Liberty has three straight wins, West Branch has five straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

West Liberty proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by ten) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Alburnett, sneaking past 4-2.

Meanwhile, West Branch lost 11-1 to Benton on Friday.

West Branch's defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for West Liberty, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

West Liberty was able to grind out a solid victory over West Branch in their previous matchup back in June of 2025, winning 9-4. Do the Comets have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bears turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
