The Boulder Panthers will head out to take on the Northglenn Norsemen at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Boulder is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.5 goals per game this season.

Boulder took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Mountain Range as they made off with an 8-0 win. Given Boulder's advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado soccer rankings (they are ranked fifth, while Mountain Range are ranked 62nd) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Boulder's offense was hitting Mountain Range from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Zoe Silver led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Northglenn's offense. They lost 7-0 to Prairie View on Friday. Northglenn have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Boulder's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-1-2. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those six contests. As for Northglenn, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7.

Everything went Boulder's way against Northglenn in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Boulder made off with a 5-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
