HEM and Upton squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but HEM had to settle for second. They were outmatched by the Upton Bobcats and fell 57-14. The Miners' loss signaled the end of their nine-game winning streak.

HEM's defeat dropped their record down to 14-6. As for Upton, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 15-4.

Looking ahead, HEM will square off against Lingle-Fort Laramie at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. HEM is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. Upton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
