Baseball Recap: Hamilton Comes Up Short

Hamilton lost against Orland back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Braves fell 10-5 to the Trojans. The Braves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hamilton saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chase Rodgers, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Hayden Boles was another, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

Hamilton's loss dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Orland, they pushed their record up to 9-6 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Hamilton and Orland should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. The Braves (ranked 453rd) will meet Portola (ranked 998th) at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Orland will face off against Corning at 4:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank advantage (455 vs. 1067).
