Sapulpa waltzed into their contest on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came out on top against the Booker T. Washington Hornets by a score of 6-2. That's more bragging rights for the Chieftains, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Sapulpa's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-8. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.7 runs over those games. As for Booker T. Washington, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-15.

Sapulpa didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 9-1 win against Victory Christian on the 11th. As for Booker T. Washington, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 14-3 defeat against Mount St. Mary on the 12th.
