Flag Football Recap: Madera South Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Madera South was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 13-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Torres Toros. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Toros this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 20-0 back in September.

Maya Manzo-Fernandez threw for 69 yards and one TD. Jayleen Gutierrez was her top target, picking up 35 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Madera South's loss dropped their record down to 3-22-1. As for Torres, their victory ended a seven-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-14.

Madera South has already played their next game, a 26-0 defeat against Madera on the 23rd. Torres does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
