Miami Valley had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They walked away with a 51-41 win over the Calvary Christian Spartans on Friday. This was payback for the Rams, who suffered a 48-40 loss the last time these two teams met.

Miami Valley's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Paxton George, who posted 13 points. Another player making a difference was Ajitpal Gill, who earned 13 points.

Calvary Christian is on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games.
