Basketball Recap: Hamtramck Comes Up Short

On Saturday, the Hamtramck Cosmos were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 58-52 to the East Kentwood Falcons.

Hamtramck now has a losing record at 7-8. As for East Kentwood, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

Hamtramck will look to defend their home court on January 5, 2025 against Michigan Collegiate at 6:00 p.m. As for East Kentwood, they are taking a road trip to take on Grandville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. East Kentwood knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Grandville likes a good challenge.
