Basketball Recap: Vinemont Takes a Loss

Vinemont was the 78-50 winner over Susan Moore when they last played one another on January 3rd, but their luck changed this time around. The Vinemont Eagles fell 59-46 to the Susan Moore Bulldogs on Monday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Vinemont's loss dropped their record down to 6-17. As for Susan Moore, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-10 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Vinemont won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Falkville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Susan Moore, they will also get right back to it: they'll square off against New Hope at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Susan Moore knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully New Hope likes a good challenge.
