Softball Preview: Minerva Lions vs. Carrollton Warriors

The Minerva Lions will head out on the road to square off against the Carrollton Warriors at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Minerva will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.

On the mound, she struck out six batters over 6.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits (and not a single walk). Cress has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive pitching appearances. Cress was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with a home run.
