Canton's found some homefield redemption this week after a overtime loss to Havana on Saturday. Canton's pitcher stepped up to hand the Williamsfield COUGARS a 14-0 shutout. The Little Giants not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since March 21, 2024.

Lilliana Horton made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out nine over five innings pitched. That one hit allowed gave her a new career-low. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-2.
