Volleyball Recap: Coastal Christian's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Coastal Christian entered their tilt with Maricopa on Thursday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They put the hurt on the Indians with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Coastal Christian was: they took every set by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-2, 25-13.

Logan Minassian paced Coastal Christian's offense, picking up seven kills. Minassian got some help from Mylee Neuschafer and her 20 assists. Minassian was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

Coastal Christian's victory bumped their record up to 19-6. As for Maricopa, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-11.
