Basketball Game Preview: Evansville Harrison Warriors vs. Muhlenberg County Mustangs

The Evansville Harrison Warriors will head out on the road to take on the Muhlenberg County Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Evansville Harrison's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matches.

Evansville Harrison came up short against Evansville Mater Dei last Wednesday, falling 77-56.

Meanwhile, Muhlenberg County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 34-33 heartbreaker at the hands of McLean County. While the Mustangs didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Cougars 6-2 in the first quarter.

Evansville Harrison will have to contain Izzy Wilkins as she made an impact in Muhlenberg County's last game. She dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds. Wilkins is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last four games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Wilkins, who posted ten points and seven rebounds.

Muhlenberg County's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Evansville Harrison, they dropped their record down to 2-14 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.
