Lansing is 8-1 against Blue Valley Northwest since August of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Lions will venture away from home to challenge the Huskies at 6:00 p.m. Lansing will be strutting in after a win while Blue Valley Northwest will be coming in after a defeat.

On Tuesday, Lansing earned a 2-0 victory over Seaman.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Blue Valley Northwest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Shawnee Mission East. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

While Blue Valley Northwest ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-17.

Blue Valley Northwest's defeat dropped their record down to 8-22. As for Lansing, their win bumped their record up to 25-7-1.

Everything went Lansing's way against Blue Valley Northwest in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as Lansing made off with a 3-0 victory. Will the Lions repeat their success, or do the Huskies have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
