Volleyball Recap: Pineapple Cove Classical Academy Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Pineapple Cove Classical Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the St. Edward's Pirates, falling 3-0. If the Patriots were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Pirates when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-13, 25-16.

Pineapple Cove Classical Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for St. Edward's, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-2.

Pineapple Cove Classical Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Melbourne Central Catholic at 6:30 p.m. on September 8. As for St. Edward's, they will challenge Legacy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
