Bethel's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They walked away with a 7-3 win over the Bunnell Bulldogs. This was payback for the Wildcats, who suffered a 13-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Alexa Brady spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on five hits and racked up eight Ks.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Kendall Mietz, who went 2-for-4 with three runs, two RBI, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Liliana Dinh, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI.

Bethel hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bunnell struck out eight times.

Bethel's record is now 5-6. As for Bunnell, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-7.

Coming up, Bethel will head out to face off against Immaculate at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Bunnell, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Weston at 4:15 p.m.
