Football Game Recap: Newark vs. St. Georges Tech

Their game last Friday wasn't at all kind to St. Georges Tech, but their most recent match may have softened the blow. They enjoyed a cozy 33-17 victory over Newark.

The contest started off well for St. Georges Tech, whose offense put up 20 first-half points. Newark countered with 17 points, leaving the score at 20-17 going into the half. The other side of the ball was dominant for St. Georges Tech in the second half, holding Newark to a measly 0 points. The win got St. Georges Tech back to even at 3-3. The defeat dropped Newark's record to 2-4.

Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. St. Georges Tech will take on Concord at home at 12:00 PM next week. As for Newark, they will face off against Appoquinimink.
