James Island posted their closest victory since September 13th on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the West Ashley Wildcats, sneaking past 3-2. The win continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won three in a row.

James Island had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 22-25, 25-16, 25-23, 15-12.

James Island's victory bumped their record up to 22-9-1. As for West Ashley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-9-1.
