Baseball Recap: Wendell Comes Up Short

Wendell and Salmon squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Wendell had to settle for second. They lost 13-3 to the Savages. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Savages this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-0 on Friday.

Deegan Prince made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Wendell's defeat dropped their record down to 16-13. As for Salmon, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 22-4.

As of now, neither Wendell nor the Savages have any future games scheduled.
