Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Waverly). Everything went their way against the Standing Bear Grizzlies on Thursday as they made off with a 10-0 victory. Felix Masur was a massive factor in the win as he booted in four goals all by himself.

The win got Waverly back to even at 5-5. As for Standing Bear, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Looking ahead, Waverly will take on Gretna in a tournament on Monday. Gretna's last four matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Standing Bear, they will face off against Lincoln Northwest at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. This will be Standing Bear's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
