Basketball Recap: Columbus Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Columbus Christian Academy lost against Mintz Christian Academy back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Columbus Christian Academy Pacers took a blow against the Mintz Christian Academy Lions, falling 53-10. The Pacers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mintz Christian Academy was led to victory by Chloe Faircloth and Tatum McNair. Faircloth dropped a triple-double on 12 points, 16 rebounds, and 11 steals, while McNair almost dropped a double-double on nine points and nine steals. Mahayla Bell was another key player, putting up four points in addition to eight steals, five assists, and five boards.

Columbus Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Mintz Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.

Columbus Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Mullins Marion Christian at 5:00 p.m. on January 31st. As for Mintz Christian Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 41-34 victory against Antioch Christian Academy on the 16th.
