Soccer Recap: Liberty Triumphs

Liberty kept a clean sheet against Pueblo West on Saturday. They came out on top against the Cyclones by a score of 2-0. Liberty's winning goal came courtesy of Jesse Guinn.

Liberty's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 7-4. As for Pueblo West, they suffered their first road defeat, dropping their record down to 6-2-3.

Coincidentally, Liberty and Pueblo West will both be playing Fountain-Fort Carson the next time they take the pitch. The Lancers will head out to face the Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Cyclones will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
