Ludlowe faced St. Joseph in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Falcons had just enough and edged out the Cadets 4-2. That's more bragging rights for the Falcons, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Ludlowe has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for St. Joseph, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-3.
