Football Game Preview: Mohawk Mustangs vs. Crosspoint Christian Warriors

The Mohawk Mustangs will hit the road for the first time this season to take on the Crosspoint Christian Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Last Friday, Mohawk took a blow against Camas Valley, falling 66-12. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, after only 12 points in their last contest, Crosspoint Christian made sure to put some points up on the board against Tulelake on Friday. The Warriors breezed past the Honkers to the tune of 36-0. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Warriors' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Crosspoint Christian's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Mohawk, they now also have a losing record of 1-2.

Mohawk suffered a grim 46-26 defeat to Crosspoint Christian in their previous meeting back in September of 2024. Can the Mustangs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
