Baseball Recap: Chestnut Ridge Wins Going Away Against Berkeley Springs

While Chestnut Ridge put up plenty of runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Berkeley Springs. Chestnut Ridge blew past Berkeley Springs 13-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

Chestnut Ridge let Kole Clark and Tyler Yatta run wild. Clark went a perfect 4-for-4 with four RBI and one run, while Yatta scored a run while going 2-for-3. Those four hits gave Clark a new career-high. Haydan Webb was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

Chestnut Ridge now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Berkeley Springs, their loss was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-7.

Looking ahead, Chestnut Ridge will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Forest Hills at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Berkeley Springs, they will face off against Clarke County at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
