Okemos has gone 8-2 against Holt recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Okemos Wolves are taking a road trip to square off against the Holt Rams at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Okemos saw some tournament action on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by a 55-35 margin over Jackson. The Wolves haven't had any issues with the Vikings recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Holt beat Mason 62-57 on Wednesday. The win was all the more spectacular given the Rams' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 165th in Michigan, while the Bulldogs are ranked 36th in Michigan).

The victory made it two in a row for Holt and bumps their season record up to 12-13. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.0 points over those games. As for Okemos, their win bumped their record up to 16-7.

Okemos came up short against Holt in their previous matchup on February 10th, falling 56-50. Can Okemos avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
