Softball Game Preview: Badger Badgers vs. Westosha Central Falcons

Badger hasn't had much luck against Westosha Central recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Badgers will venture away from home to challenge the Falcons at 4:30 p.m. Westosha Central took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Badger, who comes in off a win.

Badger came out on top against Indian Trail on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run fifth inning. The Badgers walked away with a 7-3 win over the Hawks.

The team relied heavily on Charlotte Golz, who went 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Those two hits gave her a new career-high. Mattie Golz also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.

Meanwhile, Westosha Central came up short against Kenosha Tremper on Wednesday and fell 10-6.

Badger's victory bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Westosha Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-5.

Badger couldn't quite finish off Westosha Central in their previous meeting on Monday and fell 4-2. Can the Badgers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
