Softball Recap: Walden Grove Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Walden Grove can now relate to. They lost 8-1 to the Salpointe Catholic Lancers on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Lancers this season, with their most recent loss being a 10-4 defeat back in March.

Walden Grove saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isabel Higuera, who went 1-for-4 with one run.

Walden Grove's loss dropped their record down to 14-12. As for Salpointe Catholic, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 22-6-1.

As of now, neither Walden Grove nor the Lancers have any future games scheduled.
