Brett Peterson Game Report: @ Augusta

Winning always takes teamwork, but on Tuesday Brett Peterson stepped things up a notch to give Melrose-Mindoro the 'W'. Peterson was unstoppable, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. Those runs marked the first that he scored this season.

Coming up, Peterson and Melrose-Mindoro are taking a road trip to square off against Independence/Gilmanton at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Mustangs have some work to do to even out the 1-9 series between these two since April of 2017, but a win here would be a good start.
