Flag Football Recap: Classical Academy's Winning Streak Snapped at Nine Games

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Classical Academy can now relate to. They fell 24-13 to the Torrey Pines Falcons on Saturday. Having soared to a lofty 82 points in the game before, the Caimans couldn't push the score so high this time.

Torrey Pines' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Izzie Dieter, who threw for 296 yards and four TDs while completing 79.3% of her passes. The dominant performance also gave Dieter a new career-high in rushing yards (14). Alexa Avila was another key player, gaining 115 total yards and two touchdowns.
