Volleyball Recap: Akron-Westfield Comes Up Short

Akron-Westfield was the 2-0 winner over Alta-Aurelia when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Westerners fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 2-1 on Saturday.

Akron-Westfield's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Alta-Aurelia, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-8 record this season.

Akron-Westfield has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against West Sioux on the 30th. As for Alta-Aurelia, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Northwest Webster on the 27th.
