Volleyball Recap: Bristol County Agricultural Extends Winning Streak to Three

Bristol County Agricultural entered their tilt with Norfolk County Agricultural on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Rams 3-0. This was a revenge game for the Chieftains: when they faced off against the Rams back in September, they had to take a 3-2 loss.

Bristol County Agricultural's got stronger as the match went on, holding Norfolk County Agricultural to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-19, 25-14.

When it comes to explaining why Norfolk County Agricultural lost, don't look at Shivonya Scott. Despite the final result, she had 13 digs and three aces. Scott is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last 14 games she's played. Danika Doherty also deserves some recognition as she had her first digs of the season.

Bristol County Agricultural's win bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Norfolk County Agricultural, their defeat ended a four-match streak of away wins and brought them to 9-6.
