Wheatland extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Addison Gaylord. Everything went the Pirates' way against the Marysville Indians on Thursday as they made off with a 3-0 victory for which the team can thank Gaylord, who had 12 digs and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Wheatland never let Marysville on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-7, 25-20, 26-24.

Wheatland's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Marysville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season.

Wheatland didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 defeat against Bear River on the 16th. As for Marysville, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Lincoln on the 16th.
