Volleyball Recap: Palm Grove Christian Snags Seventh Win in Last Eight Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Keswick Christian, Palm Grove Christian was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Winthrop College Prep Academy Spartans.

Palm Grove Christian was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-22, 19-25, 25-23.

Palm Grove Christian is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season. As for Winthrop College Prep Academy, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-8.

Coming up, Palm Grove Christian will head out on the road to face off against Venice at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Winthrop College Prep Academy, they will take on Carrollwood Day at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
