Basketball Recap: Richwood Comes Up Short

Richwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost to the Ruston Bearcats on the road by a 64-49 margin. The Rams were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bearcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2024.

Richwood's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Ruston, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Richwood and Delhi will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Ruston will take on Airline in a holiday battle at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
