            Football Recap: University Titans vs. Mt. Spokane Wildcats        
        
		
        
        
            
University lost against Mt. Spokane back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Friday. The Titans took  a  21-9 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Washington football rankings (they are ranked 97th, while the Wildcats are ranked 26th).
 Aiden Sautter threw for 153 yards and one  touchdown.   Grant Petersen was his top target, picking up 37 receiving yards.
This is the second loss in a row for University and  nudges their season record down to 2-3. As for Mt. Spokane,  the  win made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 4-1.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming  games. University will head out to  square off against Ferris  at 8:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Titans will be up against the Saxons' rather soft defense (which has allowed 41.8  points per  contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Mt. Spokane, they will venture away from home to  challenge Lewis & Clark  at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday.
