Baseball Recap: San Juan Hills Comes Up Short

San Juan Hills was the 5-4 winner over Mission Viejo when they last played one another on Wednesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Stallions fell just short of the Diablos by a score of 3-1 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Stallions have suffered against the Diablos since April 24, 2015.

San Juan Hills has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-13 record this season. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the losses came by an average of only 1.4 runs. As for Mission Viejo, their record is now 13-15.

Looking ahead, San Juan Hills will head out to take on California at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Condors will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Stallions surely won't give up without a fight. Mission Viejo does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
