Football Recap: West Forsyth Piles Up the Points Against Northwest Guilford + How To Watch

With a playoff win on the line, West Forsyth rose to the challenge on Friday. They really took it to the Northwest Guilford Vikings for the full four quarters, racking up a 43-7 win. The Titans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by 28 points or more this season.

West Forsyth's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Mozes Morris led the charge by rushing for 184 yards and two TDs while picking up 7.7 yards per carry. Morris is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in each of the last three games he's played. West Forsyth also got a significant boost from Ja'Mare Shephard, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 82 yards.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: West Forsyth was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 337 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2024.

The victory (which was West Forsyth's sixth in a row) raised their record to 9-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 40.2 points over those games. As for Northwest Guilford, their loss dropped their record down to 3-8.
