Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Columbian). They blew past the Clyde Fliers, posting  a  49-20 win. For the Tornadoes, this counts as revenge for the   33-14 victory the Fliers walked away with the last time they faced one another  back in October of 2024.
  Johnny Bremyer was the offensive standout of the  contest as he rushed for 26 yards and one  score, and also caught one  TD. Another player making a difference was  Izayah Swain, who rushed for 127 yards.
 Defeat or not, Clyde got some senior leadership from  Jonathan Lantz and  Adam Young.  Lantz rushed for 82 yards on only ten carries, while  Young rushed for 89 yards and one  touchdown.
Columbian now  has a winning record of 5-4. As for Clyde, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.
 We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Columbian will  take on  rival Perkins  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Meanwhile, Clyde is set to  square off against  their familiar foe Norwalk  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
