With a playoff win on the line, Inspiration Academy rose to the challenge on Friday. Everything went their way against MVP Baseball Academy as they made off with a 16-1 win. The Lions' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Jackson Bradley looked comfortable as he tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in 12 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Max Prejda and Ty Harvey did most of the damage at the plate: Prejda went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI, while Harvey went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. That's the most hits Harvey has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaya Autman, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Inspiration Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .622. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Inspiration Academy's victory bumped their record up to 17-12. As for MVP Baseball Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-12-1.

Inspiration Academy has already played their next matchup, an 8-4 win against Central Pointe Christian Academy on the 10th. MVP Baseball Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
