Volleyball Recap: Channel Islands Comes Up Short

Channel Islands was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Oxnard Yellowjackets. The Raiders were not able to make up for their loss to the Yellowjackets from their previous meeting back in September of 2021.

Channel Islands' defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Oxnard, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.

Looking ahead, Channel Islands will take on Hueneme at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Oxnard, they have already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Castaic on the 29th.
