Football Recap: Millburn Takes a Loss

Millburn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 42-6 loss at the hands of the Caldwell Chiefs. While losing is never fun, the Millers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey football rankings (they are ranked 224th, while the Chiefs are ranked 66th).

Millburn's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Caldwell, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 3-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Millburn is set to take on their familiar foe Wayne Hills at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th. Meanwhile, Caldwell will square off against rival Nutley at 6:30 p.m. on the 24th.
