Recap: Union County Patriots vs. Centerville Bulldogs
The Union County Patriots waltzed into their game on Friday with four straight wins but they left with five. They blew past Centerville, posting a 50-17 win at home. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Union County also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.
It was another big night for Katie McCashland, who scored 19 points along with nine steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last five games she's played. Nora Robinson was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with three steals.
Union County's victory bumped their record up to 11-12. As for Centerville, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost ten of their last 12 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-19 record this season.
Union County will take on Hagerstown at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hagerstown comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Centerville, they will square off against Frankton at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Frankton is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
