Basketball Recap: Concord Christian Takes a Loss

Concord Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 66-56 to Providence Academy. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Providence Academy apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.

Concord Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Providence Academy, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-3.

When Concord Christian and Providence Academy next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Concord Christian will try to stop Christian Academy of Knoxville's nine-game winning streak when the meet at 5:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Similarly, Providence Academy will take on KACHEA and their five-game winning streak at 7:30 p.m. on December 20th.
