Soccer Game Preview: Sultan vs. Cedarcrest

Sultan is 0-6 against Cedarcrest since April of 2015 but things could change on Tuesday. The Turks will take on the Red Wolves at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Sultan took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They never let Renton get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory.

Meanwhile, Cedarcrest made easy work of Lindbergh on Friday and carried off a 5-0 win. Considering Cedarcrest have won five games by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for Cedarcrest and bumps their season record up to 8-4-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two matches. As for Sultan, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

Sultan couldn't quite get it done against Cedarcrest in their previous meeting back in March as they fell 2-0. Can the Turks avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
