Basketball Recap: Clinton Triumphs

On Tuesday, the Clinton Yellowjackets didn't have too much breathing room in their match against the Morrilton Devil Dogs, but they still walked away with a 58-52 win.

Clinton now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Morrilton, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-7.

The future could be bright for both Clinton and Morrilton: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Clinton will try to hand Heber Springs their third-straight loss when the two meet at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, Morrilton will look to extend Pulaski Academy's five-game losing streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
