Baseball Game Preview: Glenelg Country Dragons vs. St. Paul's Crusaders

Glenelg Country is 0-8-1 against St. Paul since April of 2021 but things could change on Tuesday. The Dragons will be playing at home against the Crusaders at 4:30 p.m. The last three games Glenelg Country has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Glenelg Country fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against St. Mary's on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Saints by a score of 4-2.

Glenelg Country saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Armen Kazanjian, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one double and one RBI.

Meanwhile, St. Paul's beat McDonogh 8-4 on Monday.

St. Paul's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-6-1. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Glenelg Country, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-15-1.
