Halls has gone a perfect 5-0 against Peabody recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Halls Tigers will host the Peabody Golden Tide at 5:00 p.m. Halls is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Tigers on Monday. Halls fell 6-1 to Ripley.

Halls saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kyleigh Ward, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Peabody came up short against Union City on Tuesday and fell 8-5. The Golden Tide have struggled against the Golden Tornadoes recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meetings.

Ella Hilton spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five earned (and three unearned) runs on 12 hits and racked up seven Ks. What's more, she gave up only zero walks, the fewest she's had since back in April of 2024.

On the hitting side, Alexis Wilson was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while going 3-for-3. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Carlie Speer, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Peabody's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Halls, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Everything went Halls' way against Peabody in their previous meeting back in March of 2023, as Halls made off with a 16-8 win. Will Halls repeat their success, or does Peabody have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
