Football Recap: Stevenson Has No Trouble Against Smith

Stevenson lost to Smith back in October of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Ambassadors were the clear victors by a 32-12 margin over the Warriors. Considering the Ambassadors have won four matchups by more than 19 points this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for Stevenson and bumps their season record up to 7-2. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 12 points in those games. As for Smith, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-5.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Stevenson will challenge rival Grady at 12:00 p.m. on the 9th. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Ambassadors 9.6, the Falcons 3.3) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Smith is set to square off against their familiar foe Washington at 11:00 a.m. on the 9th.
