Football Recap: Eufaula Ironheads vs. Idabel Warriors
If Eufaula was riding high fresh off their 36-7 takedown of Stigler last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eufaula Ironheads took a 37-27 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Idabel Warriors on Friday. Despite 110 more yards than the Warriors, the Ironheads couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.
Despite the loss, Eufaula still got an impressive performance from Peter Lee, who rushed for 258 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.2 yards per carry. Lee's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 126 rushing yards.
